About Us

Welcome to the Council of Catholic School Parents


The Council of Catholic School Parents (CCSP) is the peak body representing the interests of ALL Catholic school parents across our Catholic community in NSW/ACT and is the largest non-government school parent body in NSW.
Membership of the CCSP comprises:
Affiliation of systemic Catholic schools is through the diocesan parent body or education office and in the case of congregational schools, directly with the Council.

Since 1995, the Council of Catholic School Parents has:

  •  been a significant contributor to the advancement of the partnership between families and schools;
  •  demonstrated an ongoing dedication to improving the outcomes for students in Catholic schools and
     indeed for all NSW students through lobbying of state and federal governments;
  •  provided professional learning for teachers, principals, school executives, and parents.
